Job Overview

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited applications for the post of Advisor (Airport Systems Directorate) on a contractual basis. The appointment will be for 11 months at AAI Corporate Headquarters, New Delhi. Eligible retired Government and CPSE officers with experience in airport systems procurement, tendering, and contract management can apply through email before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

  • Retired Central or State Government employee from Pay Matrix Level-14 or above (7th CPC), or
  • Retired CPSE employee from E-6 level or above (3rd PRC).
  • Experience in procurement, tendering, and contract management of Airport Systems equipment such as:
    • X-BIS Machines
    • CCTV Systems
    • Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMD)
    • Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS)
    • Other Airport Systems
  • Must have a clean Vigilance, Disciplinary, and Criminal record at the time of retirement.

Age Limit

The maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 65 years as on 12 August 2026.

Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive:

  • Monthly remuneration equal to 50% of the last Basic Pay drawn plus Dearness Allowance (DA).
  • Transportation reimbursement:
    • Up to ₹40,000 per month for retired Level-14/E-8 and above officers.
    • Up to ₹30,000 per month for retired E-6 and E-7 officers.
  • Broadband and Mobile reimbursement between ₹1,000 and ₹1,500 per month depending on the retirement level.
  • 1.5 days of leave per month.

The selection process consists of the following stages:
