5. Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum age: 30 years as on 31-07-2026 (candidate must be born on or after 01-08-1996).
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer); 10 years for PwBD (unreserved posts), 13 years for PwBD-OBC, 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST; 5 years for Ex-Servicemen.
  • Cumulative age relaxation applies for candidates covered under multiple relaxation categories (e.g. SC/ST/OBC who are also PwBD or Ex-Servicemen).

7. Selection Process

Selection is a three-stage process:

Phase I – Online Screening Examination (15-10-2026)

Negative marking of 1/4th mark per wrong answer applies in both papers. Candidates must clear separate cut-offs in each paper plus an aggregate cut-off to be shortlisted for Phase II.

9. Examination Centres

Phase I examination will be held across East, West, North, South and Central zones covering major cities including Kolkata, Mumbai, Chandigarh/Mohali, Chennai, Bhopal, Patna, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Trivandrum, Raipur, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Jammu, Visakhapatnam, and other centres as listed in the official notification. Phase II examination will be held at a reduced list of centres across the same five zones. Candidates may indicate up to three preferred centres for Phase I and one for Phase II.

10. How to Apply

  1. Visit www.pfrda.org.in, go to “Careers” and open the Recruitment Notification titled “PFRDA RECRUITMENT EXERCISE – RECRUITMENT OF OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) – 2026”, then click “APPLY ONLINE”.
  2. Register via “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” with Name, Contact details and Email-ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  3. Fill the application form, using “SAVE AND NEXT” to save progress; upload scanned Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression and a handwritten declaration as per specifications.
  4. Preview and verify the entire form, then click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”.
  5. Proceed to the “PAYMENT” tab and pay the applicable fee online (Debit/Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Wallets), then click “SUBMIT”.
No changes/corrections in any particulars (including category) are entertained once the application is finally submitted. Candidates need not submit a physical printout of the application to PFRDA’s office.

  • Only ON-LINE applications with requisite fee (where applicable) will be accepted; no other mode is accepted.
  • Candidates already in service of Govt./Quasi-Govt./PSU organisations must produce a “No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview.
  • Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed single AC Three Tier return railway fare by the shortest route, on submission of documentary evidence.

  • Ration Card and Learner’s License are NOT valid photo ID proof for the examination/interview.
