ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Bibvewadi, Pune, Maharashtra has invited applications for a walk-in interview to fill vacant posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Resident (3-Year) and Senior Resident (1-Year) on a contract basis, vide Advertisement No. 10 of 2026 dated 05.09.2026 (File No. A-12016/19/2025-ADMN). 7. Documents Required for Verification
- Class 10th Certificate (proof of Date of Birth)
- MBBS Marksheets (all years), Attempt Certificate and Degree Certificate
- MD/MS/DNB/Other PG Degree Marksheets (all years), Attempt Certificate and Degree Certificate
- Valid EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD Certificate in the prescribed format, wherever applicable
- Valid and updated State Medical Council/NMC Registration Certificate
- Proof of Publications and Experience Certificate(s), if applicable
- One recent passport-size photograph, Aadhaar Card
- Relieving Certificate/NOC from previous or current employer, wherever applicable
- Completion Certificate of ICMR/NMC-approved Basic Course in Biomedical Research, RBCW/BCMET certificate, if applicable

8. Selection Process
Applications submitted on the day of the walk-in interview are scrutinized by the authorized officer(s)/scrutiny committee; only eligible candidates are allowed before the Selection Board. Selection is based on interview performance, and the decision of the Recruiting Authority is final and binding. If the number of applicants is large, the hospital may introduce shortlisting criteria including a screening test.

Candidates can apply for only one post at a time, except for Emergency Medicine and ICU specialities. Selected candidates must join within 7 days of the Offer of Appointment.

9. How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview between 07.09.2026 and 11.09.2026 (reporting 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM) with:
- Duly filled application in the prescribed format (Annexure-A)
- Application fee (Demand Draft), as applicable
- All relevant original documents, including research papers (if any) and one set of self-attested copies

Selected candidates for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, SR-3 Year and SR-1 Year posts must submit a Security Deposit of ₹20,000 (Demand Draft) at the time of joining, refundable without interest after successful completion of tenure. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or joining.

10. Terms of Contract
- Tenure is one year, extendable up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance, joining of a regular incumbent, or attainment of 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
- Either side may terminate the engagement with one month’s prior notice; spot resignation requires depositing one month’s salary to the ESI Account.
- No claim for service benefits like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority or Promotion will be admissible.
- Absence beyond 15 days without permission amounts to voluntary abandonment and automatic termination. Attendance must be marked manually and via Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).
- Private practice is not permitted for any of the notified posts.
- No accommodation will be provided by ESIC.
