3. Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification
Junior Assistant: A degree in any discipline from a university established by law in India, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks; ability to read, write, speak and understand Kannada; and knowledge of computer operations and applications.
Sepoy/Watchman: SSLC (10th standard) pass with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, having studied Kannada as one language.

6. Selection Process
Junior Assistant: Selection is through a written examination followed by an interview. A merit list is prepared based on the written examination marks, and candidates are called for interview in a ratio of 1:5. Interview marks are fixed at 15. The written examination marks are converted to 85% weightage and added to the interview marks to prepare the final merit list. The written examination carries 100 marks in each of two papers (200 marks total):
