1. Overview
The Indian Air Force (IAF), through the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), had invited online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the Selection Test for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Online registration was held from 06 July 2026 to 26 July 2026. The Phase-I Online Test (STAR Exam) for this intake is scheduled on 22-23 September 2026. Eligible candidates are sent their admit cards on their registered e-mail IDs between 48-72 hours prior to the examination, and can also download the provisional admit card by logging in on the CASB web portal.

3. How to Download Admit Card
| Step 1 | Visit the CASB web portal at https://iafrecruitment.edcil.co.in |
| Step 2 | Login using your candidate’s registration credentials (User ID and password) |
| Step 3 | Go to the Admit Card / Download section under your candidate login |
| Step 4 | Download the Phase-I provisional Admit Card and take a colour printout |
| Step 5 | Carry the colour printout to the examination centre along with the required documents |

The online test is objective type; questions are bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the English paper. Marks scored in the Phase-I test will be “Normalised” using a formula published on the CASB website to account for variation in difficulty levels across sessions. Shortlisting for Phase-II is done on a state-wise basis using normalised marks, not actual marks.

What is the exam pattern for the Phase-I online test?
Science Subjects candidates get 60 minutes covering Physics, Mathematics and English. Other than Science Subjects candidates get 45 minutes covering English plus Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA). Each correct answer gets +1 mark, wrong answers get -0.25 marks, and unattempted questions get 0 marks.

Are mobile phones allowed at the exam centre?
No. Mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in testing areas during both Phase-I and Phase-II. Candidates found with such devices will be debarred permanently.
