2. Job Overview

NCRTC is a Joint Venture of the Government of India and the State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. It is implementing the Namo Bharat Project – a high-speed, rail-based commuter service in the NCR. Three corridors are planned in the first phase: Delhi–Meerut, Delhi–Gurugram–SNB–Alwar and Delhi–Panipat–Karnal. The Delhi–Meerut corridor has now been fully opened for commercial operations.

4. Eligibility Criteria

4.1 Educational Qualification

• Engineering Graduate (Full Time).
• Only full-time regular courses are considered.
• Qualification must be from a UGC-recognised Indian University/ Deemed University, or an AICTE-approved course from an autonomous Indian institution/ statutory council (wherever applicable).
• Candidates claiming equivalence must produce an equivalence certificate.
• Where CGPA/ OGPA/ CPI or grade is awarded, the equivalent percentage (as per the university’s norms) must be shown, with documentary proof at the interview stage.

4.2 Experience

Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in Systems operations, maintenance, development, Digital systems, IoT, electronics, cyber physical systems for SCADA, Rail-based systems, safety systems etc.

• For candidates with combined Government and Private-sector experience, private-sector experience is counted at 80% weightage and government experience at 100%.
• Experience on a post/ level is counted from the date of assumption of charge.
• Teaching or freelancing experience is not counted as qualifying experience.

4.3 Required Pay Scale / CTC

4.5 Employment Condition

Only candidates who are working/ employed as on the eligibility date (24/09/2026) are eligible to apply. Eligibility of candidates on deputation is considered based on their substantive grade in the parent organisation.

Job Description

• Monitoring KPIs pertaining to Train Operations, Passenger amenities, station operations, OCC etc.
• Monitoring daily revenue records and their reconciliation.
• First-level in-charge of development works of “unmanned station operations”.
• Automation of Inspections and O&M Maintenance.
• In-charge of stations/ train/ OCC/ BCC etc. for O&M.

6. Salary & Emoluments

The post carries the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 (IDA), Level E2. Emoluments include Basic Pay as applicable in the grade, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), HRA/ Lease at applicable rates, and Perks and Allowances under the Cafeteria Approach, along with other benefits as per company rules.

7. Selection Process

• The merit list will be prepared on the combined score of the Written Test and Interview.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the ratio of 1:5, in order of merit in the respective category.
• Venue, date and time of the Written Test/ CBT will be notified on the website in advance; requests for change of date/ venue will not be entertained.
• No TA/ DA is payable for attending the Written Test/ CBT.
• Document verification will be done before the interview — candidates must carry original certificates, failing which they will not be allowed to attend the interview.

8. How to Apply

1. Visit the NCRTC website (www.ncrtc.in) and go to the ‘Career’ section.
2. Keep ready a valid e-mail ID and mobile number, a scanned self-attested passport-size colour photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm, up to 100 KB, .jpg/.jpeg) and a scanned signature (blue/ black pen on white paper, up to 100 KB, .jpg/.jpeg).
3. Fill in the online form carefully and upload all the self-attested documents listed below. Preview before submitting — the form cannot be edited once submitted.
4. After submission, download the system-generated Application Form with the Unique Registration Number and take a printout.
5. Attach the supporting documents to the printout and send it by hand/ post so that it reaches NCRTC by 23/10/2026.

10. Medical Standards

• Physically fit in all aspects.
• Distance Vision: 6/9-6/9 or 6/6-6/12 with or without glasses/ contact lens. Near Vision: JI-JII with or without glasses.
• Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision and Night Vision should be normal.
• Total Myopia (including cylinder) should not exceed 4 Diopters and total Hypermetropia should not exceed +4 Diopters.
• Lasik surgery or any form of radial keratotomy is not permitted.
• Candidates suffering from Cancer or Kidney/ Liver Failure & Transplantations will not be considered.
• Pre-employment medical examination is to be done at an NCRTC-nominated hospital/ centre or a Central/ State Government hospital.
