Age Limit
Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 1 July of the calendar year in which vacancies are advertised. Upper age relaxation for SC, ST and other notified categories as per Government orders. Employees of UP State services get 5 years’ relaxation in the upper age limit. Date of birth is accepted only from the High School certificate.

6. Selection Process
- Written Mains Exam – selection is based on this written exam.
- Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test – qualifying only, held for candidates shortlisted on the basis of the written exam.
- Merit list is prepared on written exam marks of candidates who pass the physical tests.
- Post preferences are given at the time of document verification.
