4. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational qualification must be through a regular/full-time course from a recognised university/institute (certificate courses may be part-time).
- Experience must be in a full-time job on regular salary in the relevant area; freelance, entrepreneurial, internship, teaching or research experience is not counted.
- MT/ET/GT training in PSUs and apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act are counted as experience.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible.

5. Pay & Benefits
- Consolidated pay as per post (₹41,190 – ₹78,390 per month).
- Site Allowance 7.5% of pay at site/project locations; Metro Allowance 2.5% at metro locations.
- Annual increment of 3% of consolidated pay.
- Mediclaim premium reimbursement up to ₹15,000 (₹4 lakh floater); medical facility at Ispat Hospital if posted at Ranchi.
- Company accommodation as available, otherwise HRA at 5% of pay.
- 12 CL, 18 EL, 14 HPL per year; Group Personal Accident cover of ₹25 lakh.

7. Selection Process
Selection is by Personal Interview. The list of shortlisted candidates with interview date, time and venue will be uploaded on MECON’s website and emailed. Documents are scrutinised on the interview day. Selected candidates must pass a medical examination. Outstation candidates get AC-III tier rail fare as TA.
