Important Instructions
- Candidates must go through the R&P Rules, 2022 (available on the High Court website) before applying, for educational qualification/eligibility criteria/syllabus.
- Candidates must ensure their eligibility in respect of qualification, category, age and experience as on the last date of submission of online application.
- Copies of essential qualification, matriculation certificate (age proof), higher qualification and experience certificate (wherever required) must be uploaded to avoid rejection of candidature.
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates for Group-C posts must have passed matriculation/10+2/Graduation, and for Group-D posts must have passed middle/matriculation/10+2, from a school/institution within Himachal Pradesh — except for Bonafide Himachalis (Part-II Rule 5 of R&P Rules, 2022).
- Applications are acceptable ONLY in online mode, including for candidates sponsored by Employment Exchanges.
- The category once claimed shall be treated as final; no representation will be entertained thereafter.
- Experience and qualification shall be reckoned as on the date of submission of online application.
- Candidates already in Government/Semi-Government service must submit application through proper channel along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) within 15 days from the last date of application (not required for Job Trainee/Contract/Casual/Adhoc/Daily Wagers/Work Charged employees).
- Only documents mentioned and uploaded at the time of online application will be verified at the time of viva-voce/evaluation/DV; no new certificate will be entertained later (except in continuation of expired certificates).
- Submission of application does not confer any right to appear in the test(s) unless the fee is paid and eligibility is fulfilled.
- No request for change of date, time & venue of examination will be entertained.
- The High Court reserves the right to hold the examination at a particular District/Districts; candidates applying for multiple vacancies should opt for the same District as examination centre preference.
- Anticipated vacancies will be filled only on actual availability (due to retirement/promotion etc.); candidates cannot claim appointment against these as a matter of right.
- Re-checking/re-evaluation of answer sheets is not allowed at any stage.
- District/Division allocation will be based on candidate preference, merit, and post availability; once allotted, no request for change will be entertained.
- Result for Regular vacancies will be declared first, followed by Contractual and Daily Wages.
- Candidates cannot switch between appointment modes (Regular/Contract/Daily Wages) after declaration of final results.
- Candidates should apply once for a particular post; no need to apply separately for Regular, Contractual and Daily Wages vacancies of the same post.
Extra Information
Reservation for Persons with Disabilities
Benefit of reservation for Physically Handicapped (PH)/persons with benchmark disabilities (Locomotor Disabled/Visually Impaired/Hearing Impaired etc.) will be provided as per Rule 10, Part-II of R&P Rules, 2022.
EWS De-reservation
As per Government of HP instructions dated 11.06.2019, when an EWS candidate is not available for selection, the post will be automatically treated as de-reserved and filled from a non-EWS candidate of the unreserved category.
General (BPL) Category
Candidates belonging to General (BPL) category are not required to submit an Income & Asset Certificate; they are eligible for EWS reservation on the basis of a valid BPL Certificate along with a non-SC/ST/OBC Certificate. If a BPL candidate applies for an EWS-reserved post, a BPL certificate countersigned by the BDO and a non-SC/ST/OBC certificate must be submitted.
