1. Overview

Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB), Bhopal has released the Rule Book for the “Group-3 Sub Engineer, Draftsman (Manchitrakar), Laboratory Technician and Other Equivalent Posts Combined Recruitment Examination-2026 (Second)”. This joint examination covers 1700 vacancies across various Madhya Pradesh Government departments and organisations for posts outside the purview of the MP Public Service Commission.

3. Vacancy Details

Total vacancies: 1700 posts for Sub Engineer, Draftsman (Manchitrakar), Laboratory Technician and other equivalent posts, distributed across multiple Madhya Pradesh Government departments.

In addition to the exam fee, a portal charge applies: ₹60/- for candidates applying through an MP Online kiosk, and ₹20/- for candidates applying themselves via a registered citizen login.

5. Eligibility

Qualification and age criteria are prescribed separately for each post/department under the reservation tables in Chapter 2 of the Rule Book. Candidates must check the specific post they are applying for in the official notification for the exact educational qualification and age limit applicable to that post.

Live registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Office is mandatory for all the above posts. 6. Selection Process

Selection is through a computer-based / OCR-based online objective-type written examination, conducted in shifts as per the schedule above. Candidates must carry their original photo ID (Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, or Passport) along with the downloaded admit card; entry without one of these will not be permitted.

7. General Instructions
