4. Eligibility Criteria
4.1 Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
- M.Sc. in Soil Science / Chemistry / Botany with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

Notes: (1) A candidate who does not have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject but has a Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level is eligible for the post. (2) Candidates having an M.Sc. degree must have qualified NET.

4.2 Desirable
Preference will be given to a candidate who has previous experience in conducting soil surveys, collecting and analysing soil samples in field and laboratory conditions, and working with various routine soil analytical instruments.
