CBSE KVS-NVS Teaching & Non-Teaching Tier-II Result 2026 – Second Phase (PGT & TGT)

1. Overview

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is declaring the Tier-II Recruitment Examination results for various teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in a phase-wise manner, under Recruitment Notification No. 01/2025. As per the Press Release dated 18 August 2026, the Second Phase of results has been declared for a specific list of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) subject/language posts.

This information is taken from the official CBSE Press Release dated 18.08.2026 (RECTT. NOTIFICATION/01/2025).

2. Background: Tier-II Exam & Evaluation Process

As per CBSE’s earlier Press Note dated 7 August 2026, the Tier-II examinations for KVS, NVS and EMRS recruitment were conducted in March 2026 and comprised both objective and descriptive components — more than 2.1 lakh descriptive answer books across 66 disciplines had to be evaluated. CBSE clarified that evaluation of OMR-based objective answer sheets was already complete, while physical evaluation of descriptive answer books was at an advanced stage. The Board announced that Tier-II results would be declared in phases starting mid-August 2026, and asked candidates to rely only on the official website and ignore unverified rumours regarding result dates.
