1. Overview
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited Online Recruitment Applications for direct recruitment by selection to 80 vacancies of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment, under Special Advertisement No. 52/2026 (Vacancy No. 26085201722). Post: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC), Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. Pay Level-10 in the Pay Matrix (7th CPC). The post is permanent, Central Board Group “A”, Non-Ministerial, with an All India Service liability and headquarters at New Delhi.

6. Selection Process
Selection is through a pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to shortlist candidates, followed by an Interview. The RT is an objective type, multiple-choice test of 2 hours duration, in English and Hindi, with negative marking (one-third deduction for each wrong answer).

7. Recruitment Test (RT) Centres
The Recruitment Test will be held at 84 centres across India, including Agra, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram and Varanasi, among others. Centre allotment is on a first-apply-first-allot basis and is subject to a ceiling at most centres (except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur), so candidates are advised to apply early to get a centre of their choice.

8. How to Apply
Candidates must apply online only through upsconline.nic.in/ora. The portal requires completion of Account creation, Universal Registration (URN), Common Application Form (CAF), and the post-specific fourth module. Aadhaar Card is strongly recommended as the ID document for verification. Applications cannot be withdrawn or edited after submission.
